            Football Recap: Seward Bluejays vs. McCook Bison        
        
		
        
        
            It's playoff time, and Seward had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the McCook Bison 35-12 on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but the Bluejays pulled away in the second half with 28  points.
 One reason for the win was Seward's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Kyle Riley and  Cardin Goracke, who racked up  four sacks between them.
 Despite the loss, McCook still got an impressive performance from   Tristan Campbell, who rushed for 174 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Campbell has become a key player for the Bison: the team is 6-1 when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

 Coming up, Seward will take on Waverly at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 14.3  points per game  this season, so the Bluejays' offense will have their work cut out for them. McCook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
