Football Game Preview: Lynden Christian Lyncs vs. Royal Knights + How To Watch

Lynden Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Montesano with a sharp 56-35 win. The victory was nothing new for the Lyncs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Lynden Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Maberry, who threw for 278 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Thanks to that big game, Maberry is now up to 22 passing touchdowns on the season. Boyce Robertson was another key pass catcher, picking up 158 receiving yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Royal against Seton Catholic on Saturday as the squad secured a 48-10 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Cougars are ranked 72nd).

Royal's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lynden Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Lynden Christian was taken down by Royal 56-12 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Lyncs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
