 Goretti had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. They never let the Jackson-Reed Tigers onto the board and left with  a   7-0  win. Considering Goretti has won eight contests by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 For Jackson-Reed's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jackson Loomis, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 Goretti pushed their record up to 19-4 with that  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Jackson-Reed, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-6.
 Goretti will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Paul's at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Jackson-Reed does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
