Volleyball Recap: Malvern Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Malvern can now relate to. They came up short against the Pulaski Academy Bruins on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Leopards have suffered since September 23rd.

This is the second loss in a row for Malvern and nudges their season record down to 13-11. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 23-8 Mena (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 71.3% over those games). As for Pulaski Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Malvern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pulaski Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
