Football Recap: Monroe-Woodbury Comes Up Short

Monroe-Woodbury lost against Middletown last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crusaders took a 32-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middie Bears.

Monroe-Woodbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Middletown, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe-Woodbury will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Newburgh Free Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Middletown, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Minisink Valley at 4:30 p.m.
