Deweyville and Evadale are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2022, but not for long. The Pirates will head out to square off against the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Deweyville will be strutting in after a win while Evadale will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Deweyville turned things around against West Hardin on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oilers.

Meanwhile, Evadale suffered their biggest defeat since August 19th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Danbury. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Evadale may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Evadale's loss dropped their record down to 6-19-1. As for Deweyville, their win bumped their record up to 2-15.

Deweyville beat Evadale 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
