Soccer Recap: Tyler Victorious

Tyler proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Buffalo Bison by a goal, winning 2-1.

Tanner Starkey and Adam Shreves scored both of Tyler's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-3. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyler will challenge Wheeling Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheeling Central Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Tyler surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buffalo, they will face off against Point Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo's defense better be ready for this one: Point Pleasant have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
