Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keystone Oaks). Their defense stepped up to hand the Charleroi Cougars a 9-0 shutout on Monday. Aly Simon was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Keystone Oaks now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Charleroi, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Keystone Oaks and Charleroi will both be playing Belle Vernon the next time they take the pitch. The Golden Eagles will host the Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
