Softball Recap: Brackett Comes Up Short

Brackett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Falls City Beavers, falling 17-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Beavers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Brackett's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Falls City, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brackett will take on Three Rivers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Rivers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Falls City, they will square off against Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Falls City's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
