Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the St. Margaret's Tartans. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Capistrano Valley Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-19.

Capistrano Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Margaret's, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley Christian will welcome Santa Barbara at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Margaret's, they will face off against El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
