Softball Recap: University Christian Christians vs. Harvest Community Warriors
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only University Christian walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Harvest Community Warriors a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 back in February.
Dixie Tessier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, University Christian got a massive performance out of Mila Lackowski, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one double.
