Football Recap: Cascade Piles Up the Points Against Woodburn + How To Watch

Cascade put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Woodburn Bulldogs 47-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cascade to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryce Kuenzi, who rushed for 74 yards and one score. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Coreson, who threw for 94 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Cascade proved: they limited Woodburn to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The Cougars didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 19.6.

Cascade's record is now 6-0. As for Woodburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Cascade will be playing at home against La Grande at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Woodburn, they will head out on the road to take on Stayton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
