Volleyball Recap: Water Canyon Takes a Loss

If Water Canyon was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bryce Valley on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Beaver Beavers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Beavers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Water Canyon has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Beaver, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Water Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Altamont on the 17th. As for Beaver, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. Joseph on the 17th.
