Volleyball Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan and Cottonwood squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Logan had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2.

Logan took Cottonwood into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 24-26, 25-16, 15-7.

Cottonwood found their leader in sophomore Henry Bowles, who had 13 digs.

Logan has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Cottonwood, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Logan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cottonwood, they will square off against Desert Hills at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
