Baseball Recap: Florence Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Florence had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Empire Ravens by a score of 9-4 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Logan Stenson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Stenson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Empire, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Globe on the 25th. As for Empire, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pima on the 25th.
