Baseball Recap: Pulaski Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Pulaski had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Green Bay Southwest on Wednesday. The Red Raiders put the hurt on the Fighting Trojans with a sharp 12-1 victory. Considering the Red Raiders have won seven matchups by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Braun Wotruba was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Bryce Wotruba, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Pulaski always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Bay Southwest only posted an OBP of .385.

Pulaski pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.
