Baseball Recap: Hope Comes Up Short

Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Nashville Scrappers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scrappers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 on Tuesday.

Hope's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Nashville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hope will square off against rival Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nashville is set to challenge their familiar foe Arkadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
