Basketball Game Preview: Rapid City Central Cobblers vs. Lincoln Patriots

The Rapid City Central Cobblers are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rapid City Central, who comes in off a win.

Rapid City Central is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since February 15, 2024 on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 55-24 victory over Douglas.

Meanwhile, Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Pierre T.F. Riggs and fell 66-39.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Rapid City Central, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-17.

Everything came up roses for Rapid City Central against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rapid City Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
