Softball Recap: Tuscaloosa Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Victory Christian last Tuesday, Tuscaloosa Christian came back down to earth. Tuscaloosa Christian came up short against Russell Christian Academy on Friday, falling 18-0. The match marked the first time this season in which Tuscaloosa Christian was not able to get on the board.

Addison Blackmon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Anna Collins also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Tuscaloosa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Russell Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Tuscaloosa Christian will take on Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Russell Christian Academy, they will face off against Starkville Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
