Football Recap: Harry S. Truman Comes Up Short

Harry S. Truman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Abington Galloping Ghosts and fell 42-7. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

A big part of Abington's victory came down to the chemistry between Miles Yockus and his top target Ayden Turner. Yockus threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes while Turner picked up 141 receiving yards and three scores. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Turner a new career-high.

Harry S. Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Abington, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Harry S. Truman will head out to challenge Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Abington, they will challenge Bensalem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
