Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Academy managed to keep up with United until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. 2025 welcomed the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds with a 3-0 loss courtesy of the United Longhorns. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Bloodhounds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Joseph Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for United, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

St. Joseph Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Antonio Christian at 2:00 p.m. on January 14th. San Antonio Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.5 goals per game this season. United has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Veterans Memorial on the 4th.
