Basketball Recap: Petal Comes Up Short

Petal lost against Oak Grove back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Petal Panthers fell to the Oak Grove Warriors 39-33. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petal's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Oak Grove, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

Petal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Grove, they will venture away from home to square off against Pearl at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Grove is facing Pearl at the right time seeing as Pearl is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
