Soccer Game Preview: Adams City vs. Lutheran

The Adams City Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Lutheran Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Adams City is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Adams City's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Thornton by a score of 2-0.

Yadilexy Sierra and Andrea Navarrete scored both of Adams City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Lutheran's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Golden. Lutheran haven't had any issues with Golden recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Adams City's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
