Basketball Game Preview: Kokomo Wildkats vs. Fort Wayne Wayne Generals

The Kokomo Wildkats and the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Kokomo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Kokomo was able to grind out a solid win over Marion, taking the game 56-44. Given the Wildkats' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Giants are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eliana Stewart continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Satyra Scott, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 14 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Wayne entered their game against Carroll on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Fort Wayne Wayne took a hard 57-43 fall against Carroll. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory made it two in a row for Kokomo and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
