Baseball Game Preview: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Union Cougars

For the second straight game, Grantsville will face off against Union. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grantsville is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Grantsville and Union, and Union kept the tradition alive. The Cowboys fell 5-2 to the Cougars on Tuesday.

Grantsville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krue Warren, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Grantsville, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
