Baseball Game Preview: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Delta Rabbits

For the second straight game, Grantsville will face off against Delta. The Cowboys will head out on the road to square off against the Rabbits at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Grantsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Grantsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Delta with a sharp 14-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Payton Cummings was incredible, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-4. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Krue Warren, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Grantsville lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Delta has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Grantsville, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
