Basketball Recap: Leonard Takes a Loss

If Leonard was riding high fresh off their 62-20 takedown of S & S Consolidated last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leonard Tigers fell 54-43 to the Bells Panthers on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-31 back in December of 2024.

Leonard's loss dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Bells, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 23-8.

Leonard will take on Blue Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bells, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bells Panthers challenge the Pottsboro Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
