Flag Football Recap: Valdosta Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Valdosta's offense. They came up short against the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, falling 26-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 20th).

Valdosta is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9. As for Thomas County Central, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Valdosta is set to square off against their familiar foe Cook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thomas County Central will challenge rival Irwin County at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
