Basketball Recap: Atascocita's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

If Atascocita was riding high fresh off their 66-43 takedown of Fort Bend Marshall on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brennan Bears on Saturday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brennan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donovan Criss, who shot 54% from the field to rack up 20 points. The contest was Criss' fourth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Ward, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 14 points and eight boards.
