Basketball Recap: Yerington Piles Up the Points Against Eureka

After losing to Eureka the last time they met, Yerington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions blew past the Vandals 70-37 on Friday.

Colby Rowe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10-for-16 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Brent Brinkley, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

The win got Yerington back to even at 2-2. As for Eureka, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Yerington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-28 victory against Bishop Union on the 6th. Eureka has also already played their next game (against Beatty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
