It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Northwest Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Benjamin Franklin Chargers. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Northwest Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Benjamin Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7-1.

Coming up, Northwest Christian will take on ALA - Ironwood at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will challenge Payson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
