Basketball Recap: McHenry Takes a Loss

McHenry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 50-28 to the Hampshire Whip-Purs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Whip-Purs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-32 back in January.

McHenry's record now sits at 3-27. As for Hampshire, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-16.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. McHenry will face off against Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Guilford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Hampshire, they will challenge Palatine at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
