Winfield barely beat Warrenton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Winfield's defense stepped up to hand Warrenton a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Winfield, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Winfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight games. As for Warrenton, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winfield will challenge Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warrenton, they will face off against St. Charles West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Charles West will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Warrenton surely won't give up without a fight.
