Kennewick is 9-1 against Hanford since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Kennewick Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Hanford Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Kennewick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Hanford likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Kennewick was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 70-69 to Chiawana. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (67), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hanford). They managed a 77-71 victory over Southridge on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Kennewick's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Hanford, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15.

Everything came up roses for Kennewick against Hanford in their previous meeting on January 3rd, as the team secured an 88-52 win. In that contest, Kennewick amassed a halftime lead of 43-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
