Basketball Recap: Elliott County Takes a Loss

Elliott County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 59-20 defeat at the hands of the Phelps Hornets.

Elliott County's record now sits at 0-14. As for Phelps, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elliott County will welcome West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Phelps, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hurley at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
