Baseball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lincoln Railsplitters, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railsplitters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 last Wednesday.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Madison has already played their next contest (against Midwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-4 win against Fort Hamilton on the 26th.
