Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity lost against Carrington back in March of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trinity Titans were beaten by the Carrington Cardinals 65-37. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Trinity's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Carrington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will venture away from home to challenge Rapid City Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carrington, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
