Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carrier Mills-Stonefort). They took down the Shawnee Redskins 80-63 on Friday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 56-40 win the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Shawnee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kyler Jewell posted 39 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jewell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Mayberry, who put up 18 points.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort's victory bumped their record up to 2-18. As for Shawnee, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort has already played their next matchup, a 62-56 win against Cobden on the 8th. As for Shawnee, they will welcome Agape Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
