Basketball Recap: Prairie Ridge Takes a Loss

Prairie Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dundee-Crown Chargers. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 55-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Prairie Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Dundee-Crown, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie Ridge will face off against Huntley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Prairie Ridge is facing Huntley at the right time seeing as Huntley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Dundee-Crown has already played their next contest (against Crystal Lake Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
