Softball Recap: Kiefer's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Kiefer blew Chandler out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Chandler got their revenge. The Trojans fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Sienna Renz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 13 consecutive appearances.

Kiefer's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5. As for Chandler, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kiefer will head out to face off against Kellyville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chandler, they will challenge Pryor at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
