Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Comes Up Short

Cornerstone Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trailblazers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Cornerstone Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Appalachian Christian School, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Coming up, Cornerstone Christian will face off against Blue Ridge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Appalachian Christian School, they will take on Stuart Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
