Douglass got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Naiy'Lah Crutchfield out in front who went 7 for 14 en route to 15 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Crutchfield has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Francesca Svizzero, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Douglass was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Friendly only posted two assists.
Meanwhile, Crossland came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Potomac with a 38-34 win on Tuesday.
Crossland's win came from a few key players Douglass will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zaida Birruete, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camille Townsend, who had 11 points.
Crossland's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Douglass, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

It's a different story for Crossland, though, as they've been averaging only 32.8 points. The only thing between Douglass and another offensive beatdown is Crossland.
