Softball Recap: Izard County Cougars vs. South Side Hornet

Izard County came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Side Hornet a 1-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Izard County also won the last time the pair played back in March.
