Baseball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Uniontown Eagles. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Oswego saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demitri Williamson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Williamson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Uniontown, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Oswego by a score of 14-9 later that day.
