Basketball Game Preview: Upland Highlanders/Scots vs. Chino Hills Huskies

The Upland Highlanders/Scots will venture away from home to take on the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Upland has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 4.

Upland is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Damien on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Upland had to suffer through a 89-42 loss at the hands of Damien. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders/Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 538th, while the Spartans are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Chino Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 76-72 to Los Osos.

Chino Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Upland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.

Upland came up short against Chino Hills in their previous matchup last Wednesday, falling 54-42. Can Upland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
