The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers waltzed into their contest on Monday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They snuck past Greater Latrobe with a 67-61 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Pace Prosser was his usual excellent self, scoring 36 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Prosser is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Craig Jarvis, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Berlin Brothersvalley pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greater Latrobe, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berlin Brothersvalley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Meyersdale at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Meyersdale is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Greater Latrobe, they will head out on the road to face off against Kiski Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
