Baseball Recap: Alamo Heights Starts Season with Win at Home

Alamo Heights took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Tivy Antlers out 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Mules in their matchups with the Antlers: they've now won five in a row.

Alamo Heights' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Wright, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alamo Heights is headed away from home for the first time to take on Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Tivy, they will take on Channelview in a tournament on Thursday.
