Volleyball Game Preview: Radford Bobcats vs. Appomattox County Raiders + How To Watch

The Radford Bobcats will venture away from home to face off against the Appomattox County Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Radford comes in on 20 and Appomattox County on 22.

Radford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Glenvar 3-0.

Radford never let Glenvar on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

If Gretna wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Appomattox County, they should've done a better job of containing Paisley Mann. The Raiders put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Mann, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

While Appomattox County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Gretna scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 29-27, 25-23.

Radford's record now sits at 21-1. As for Appomattox County, their record is now 24-1.

Radford suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Appomattox County in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
