Tri-Point hadn't done well against Milford recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Chargers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bearcats. The Chargers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bearcats, so the Chargers were just returning the favor.

While Tri-Point won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Khloe Miller-Dyrby paced Tri-Point's offense, picking up five kills. Miller-Dyrby got some help from Rachel Darda and her nine assists. Lexa Porth controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The win made it two in a row for Tri-Point and bumps their season record up to 10-11. As for Milford, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Tri-Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Beecher on the 30th. Milford has also already played their next matchup (against Oakwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
