Recap: Hamilton Yankees vs. University Wildcats

The Hamilton Yankees won the last time they faced the University Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Hamilton walked away with a 46-33 win over University. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hamilton.

Leading Hamilton to victory were Micah Jahn and Shiraz Lawrence. Jahn scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, while Lawrence scored 12 points. Chinonso Njoku was another key contributor, scoring four points.

Despite the defeat, University had strong showings from Lucas Turko, who scored eight points, and Syrus Azarbarzin, who scored six points along with two steals.

Hamilton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-16. As for University, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will face off against Venice at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Venice is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for University, they will head out on the road to challenge Los Angeles CES at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Angeles CES presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than University in California (Los Angeles CES is ranked 278th, while University is ranked 905th).
